Opening front door from outside

I haven't had a lot of plastic front doors but the ones I have had could have the handle pulled up so they weren't openable from the outside.

The door to my new house doesn't do this so unless you lock it anyone can open it, which is a bit annoying.

Is there something I can fit/adjust to make it do this?

Its called a Lever/Pad set up.

It would require a new handle and spindle and possibly a whole new gearbox. Probably best to speak to the people who fitted it if possible as they will know the parts needed
