I know it needs scrapping , however my finances currently disagree with me regarding that decision. Currently boiler doesnt turn on in morning, this is because pressure has dropped to 1.0 , as soon as I top it up using the loop to 1.5 it kicks in ,

PRV and pipes all seem fine , cannot locate any leaks , what would cause it to lose pressure but stop at 1.0?

Other question , pressure switch has 2 tubes going to it , however there is another tube hanging loose from bottom of boiler , attached end seems to feed into boiler , has this come loose from somewhere or should it be hanging free possibly to draw air in ? I cannot see where it could have come loose from ,

Thanks in advance,
