The control panel on my alarm does not beep whilst using keypad, is this a fault or can it be rectified somehow, any advice gratefully accepted, thanks in advance
Do you mean when enter code number keypad does not make a noise ?

Optima accenta G3 panel with keypad top right corner. When entering code no keypad tones audible, so not sure if code has been accepted etc
You will normally get an entry and exit tone/sound when setting and unsetting.
Does the red day light go out after 30 seconds?
If you enter code and get some to walk in front of a sensor that should light up red on the zone number which you have walked in front of.
That would suggest code is correct.
Are you sure you have correct code ?
Could be faulty speaker in control panel ?

Lights illuminate as expected, ie open door on zone 2-red light etc. Definitely the correct code, im the only one who knows how to use alarm in house. Ill investigate further in next day or so, thanks for help
Possible speaker issue
Set alarm off and see if sounder outside works
Could have blown sounder fuse inside control panel ?
