my friend has just moved into a house with an Optima XL 6 alarm, however he does not know the code to it and has no way of finding out as last owner never used the alarm. The alarm was set off last week and is on the same circuit as the down stairs lights, the only way he could turn it off was to switch off the MCB for the downstairs light. I disconnected the power to the alarm so he can have his lights back down stairs but is there any way we can reset the alarm. I have heard you can link out some connections etc.
