Optima XM Outside Bell

Hello,

I've just had new windows and doors fitted so have reattached the sensors but replaced The front door sensor following the same wiring from the old one.

Having done this and testing the alarm, the outside bell does not work. The inside alarm goes off with no attack light when I trigger it purposefully. The blue flashing light appears but no sound to follow.

Any help would be much appreciated.

blown fuse ? strobe is flashing only 1 fuse for bell and strobe.

Sparky is right.

OP check the continuity with both trigger wires, and at the sounder just use a hard neg on the bell trigger. Then you have tested both the sounder and the cable. You have to get up there anyway.

are you setting the alarm and triggering a zone to set off the alarm or are you setting it off on the tamper if by the tamper then only the inside siren will go off fully set the system and try it

Why would the strobe go as well on an internals only trigger?
