opus romani ?

i am going to be laying marble in this opus Rom. pattern. do i have to work to a pattern or can i make it up as i go. also do i start in the centre of the room?

i will be using uzin stone flex adh. has anyone used this before?

my marble is £25 plus vat a sqm. great price.

As far as price goes, there's a lot a cheap low quality chinese stone about

Thers's a lot of cheap, low quality Chinese "everything" about. No wonder their economy's booming. Quality is always worth paying extra for.

its syrian marble. but what would be wrong if it was chinese? i am sure it would be ok.

opus romani is the pattern where 4 different sizes are used: small square, big square, small rectangle, big rectangle.

it is quite hard to do i think. just wanted any tips if you know what i mean by this pattern now.
