I'm part way through a garden room self-build (8m x 4m), currently on hold until the weather improves! I've constructed a suspended timber floor (on EasyPAD foundations), which I have insulated and boarded over with plywood. I am now finalising the plans for my walls. Quick question - should the OSB sheets on the side walls descend down so that they also cover the floor timbers? Or should they finish flush with the top of the floor? Watching YouTube videos, I have seen both approaches. I guess having them cover the floor timbers as well will add strength to the overall structure. But am I likely to run into any problems with this approach? Any advice much appreciated - I am very much a novice with this, learning things as I go along! Thanks!
