Blizzard conditions.
Went out today to do my Boy Scout thing.
With suppliers shut, nothing happening.
What I do see is idiots and more idiots
One on my tail leaning on the horn as he wants to go past
Then another one on his tail clocking something like 40 mph

Then see drivers at the lights moving, or trying to move with wheels spinning like screw tops

Popped into Tesco, slight incline. Driver in front leaning on the gas pedal opens his door and trying to push the car forward. If someone thinks heavy spinning of drive wheels will get the car moving they do not need education or a push, just a demonstration. From standstill, I did what I have detailed below

In this weather, let the clutch out, do not touch gas pedal. Vehicle moves forward, change to second gear. Now how difficult is that

Will post some pictures later

No gas, let out the clutch, now I know why I drive a diesel?

Recall in a teaching session with my son to drive in an off road area using same technique to get clutch control mastered, seemed to work
