Out of reach pointing tips

Hi all,

Looking for any tips anyone has to reach very high to fill a hole in my house external wall with cement.

Trying to prevent any critters getting in but ladders don’t get me close.

Any tried and tested make-shift contraptions to get me high but keep some control too. (Without buying massive ladders).

How far away are you?
If you are within an arm's length, I've used this stuff in a sealant gun...

I’m about 6 feet away so a long arm but this is interesting if I can get a bit closer and use that, seems more doable than my other idea of taping a trowel to the end of a pole and slapping it in. Thanks

What about hiring a cherry picker or longer ladder?

Unfortunately the cheapest only solution is a tower.
Around £100 for a weekend.
