Is there anyway of doing this wirelessly as it is too difficult/long to run wires back to the control panel.
I need it for a side gate.
I had a Visonic system before and you could put an old style dumb contact sensor and wire it to spare terminals on a Visonic wireless contact sensor.
All I can find for external use is an Texecom Outdoor PIR sensor.

You could wire a contact on the old large wireless contacts but not sure if they still make them …

Impact SC W has same option to wire additional contact.
Install heavy duty sealed contact or RS contact to gate and wire back to wireless device in IP rated plastic box.

Sorry for late reply. I will look at these two options - it does look hopeful though.
Thanks

The SC-W replaces the old Impaq wireless sensors,
The SC-W can have a contact wired to it, but the SC-W is not ip rated itself.
