outdoor junction box for security lights possible

Hi
i want to know if there is a junction box I can use for the security lights. It's easier since I don't need to drill another hole for the second security light. just need to feed both of them from the junction box . The gland that I saw said it's for 6mm cable. Mega overkill for such a small load.

It's a cable gland - think about what cable dimension might be relevant.

I've been looking through some of your threads.

You need to get some catalogues and spend all your time in the boys room reading them, you seem to have issues with working out correct materials.

When you finish these jobs would you post up some pictures of your work I'd be interested.

Avoid top entry, remember drip loops, use suitable external grade cable, make sure cable size is matched to gland, and gland size to box.

FYI - you can get gland plates for some sizes - jolly useful when you're using SWA, or if you want to use locknuts (assuming the gland is long enough), as the internal ribs get in the way.
