Hi
i want to know if there is a junction box I can use for the security lights. It's easier since I don't need to drill another hole for the second security light. just need to feed both of them from the junction box . The gland that I saw said it's for 6mm cable. Mega overkill for such a small load.

6mm.

Not 6mm².

It's a cable gland - think about what cable dimension might be relevant.

I've been looking through some of your threads.

You need to get some catalogues and spend all your time in the boys room reading them, you seem to have issues with working out correct materials.

When you finish these jobs would you post up some pictures of your work I'd be interested.

For most applications you should opt for

They are marketed as self seal, mastic from the inside over the cable entry.

If the box is in an open external area I would use

Avoid top entry, remember drip loops, use suitable external grade cable, make sure cable size is matched to gland, and gland size to box.

The all you need to do is test off and cert.
