Outdoor shower no freeze

We're looking to put an outdoor shower on the wall of the house and wondering if you've any ideas for a cheap and easy one to buy that is less likely to freeze, or a good idea on how to set it up?

Hi all,

Thanks for the replies. It's going to be in use throughout the winter that's all. I've looked at heat tape, but don't have power. I've heard about auto-draining showers but can't find any.

Yea it’s a good point and no reason why not really I suppose. I guess just need a bracket for the head

It's designed for outside. It will freeze the same, but the design should be that water doesn't get stuck in parts, and cause damage when it freezes.
Water appliances outside get ruined when liquid water becomes trapped between two parts that are blocked (eg valves or frozen themselves) as that trapped liquid water freezes it expands and bursts things

Your shower should be designed to avoid that entrapment happening - either because water is drained and doesn't get trapped or because the design is such that entrapment is unlikely (one open end that freezes more slowly than the other parts)
