Hiya, newbie needs your help?

I've just bought an outside light, the house is only a couple of years old and the wiring was already installed, but there is only an neutral & a live cable.

The light has an aluminium housing (I don't know if there are any plastic bodied security lights or even if that's safe to do?).

We've had some house crime in the area recently so I want to get a light up asap as our garden is very dark at night.

What can I do? Is there a safe way of wiring this light or do I need an electrician to do some re-wiring - this aspect is beyond my basic skills!

Thanks for any suggestions.
