Recently moved into a new build and purchased a light for the wall outside, with the wiring for the light already been put in by the builders. The two gang two way light on the inside, left switch for the hallway light and right switch will be for the outdoor light, but its 3 core Brown, black grey with earth. The naturals for the hall way light go into a chock block on inside of light, pictures attached including wiring diagram of external light

Its a right PITA to look at it that way. Its easier to be able to see all the pictures at the same time.

Either drag the pictures onto the reply /text pane, or hit the "UPLOAD A FILE" button and upload the pics.

Power off!

You need to put a brown wire linking the two COM terminals on the switch.

On the 3-core&easrth cable
Connect the earth conductor to earth (with G/Y sleeve) at both ends

The brown is live and goes to L1 at the switch and the live terminal at the light.

Use the grey for neutral. It should have a blue sleeve to Mark it as such. It goes in the neutral term block in the switch box and the neutral connection at the light

The black wire is spare.
