Just a quick question.

I've installed an outside light to my conservatory.

I dont want the light switched, just to act as a security light, so was thinking I could plug it into the sockets in the roof space I have for the tv amp? Or should I run a FCU from the socket and plug into that?

thank

You can do either.

An FCU isn't really necessary but the manufacturer may state it is required which must be followed.
If so, the plug would be easier.

A switch can be useful as most can be manipulated to cause the light to stay on.

ok so just wire the 1.5 flex into a standard plug and plug it in like a table lamp. Thought there would have been more to it
