outside power

I have a similar problem to JD - except I have no outside cabling at all.
My garden is currently being rescued rom years of neglect by the previous owner, and it is planned to build a garage, to which I would like to provide lighting and power. This will be built at the far end of the garden, some distance from the house.
It s also planned, eventually, to install a hot tub in the garden, which will also require a power supply.
Finally, I have a decking area, where I will eventually install some (low voltage?) lighting, and possibly some kind of water feature, and a small outside toilet which needs at least a light.
The hot tub people I have spoken to tell me I need a 6mm SWA cable for this (fair enough?) my question is - can I run a similar cable for the garage - and is it possible / legal / safe to "T" off this for the decking / toilet light, or do I need to run seperate SWA cables for everything?
Any advice would be gratefully received

there are losts of posts regarding your query, try a search for out side [power, power to garage and no you can not t off unless you install a bigger cable but that would mean other problems so no, fo garage run separate cable

Ok, ok, my wife is preggers with number three, but I've got strict orders to visit the V.....E........T when s/he is born........ GULP!!

Actually, p*ss is very good for helping compost to mulch down, but resist the urge to / on the compost heap when the Rev is taking afternoon tea in the garden......

Some people have huge mortgages to spend their hard-earned on, I have a wife and (nearly) three kids instead....

Born in Aberystwyth, lived in London, London-born parents, residence happens to be northern.

What makes you a Northerner/Southerner anyway?? Is it parentage, residence or place of birth? Or, as a previous g/f suggested, accent?

I take a "Barth", rather than a "Bath"......
