Outside Sockets

If you don't use much off-peak electricity then E7 will cost you more overall than being on a normal tariff....

Ooh BAS, another development, just noticed on my CU above, the one that works everything, it would appear i have 2 spare "spaces" - there is a blanking plate at the end of the trip switches, so it may be possible to get another "trip switch" (sorry, dont know the correct term, MCB?) installed and link to that, forget the old CU completely.

There's no RCD, which the new sockets should have.

Mind you - there isn't one in the other CU either.

Don't know if you can get RCBOs for that board - if not you'll need an external RCD, or put an RCD into the other CU, connect it so that it's not only off-peak any more, and use that.

Find an electrician, get her to come and have a look, and sort it out for you.
