outside switch

Mornin all !
I have the need to put a single switch to an outside light, the switch which is strategically positioned to be exactly were it is required is on an external wall which gets a decent battering from the west wind and welsh weather, have looked online for external sitches and are looking at this

any comments that this is what i require or possibly is there a more "marine" environment switch that may be more suitable??

That switch is rated IP66 and is more than adequate for your average outside switch.

IPX6 devices are defined as

"Protected against strong jets of water e.g. on ships deck, limited ingress permitted"
