Hi
I do not know much about this kind of stuff  :
My new oven is only 2kw, and the instructions say I should use at least 2.5mm and 13A. Would it be ok to pu this on a normal circuit (13A) and must I ONLY have the oven on the circuit, or can I run other kitchen appliances on it (not the kettle but things like the microwave and toaster?
Much appreciated!

you can if you use a spur with a 13a fuse.

Most kitchens have their own ring, this is because in the kitchen it is quite likley that you will have the toaster, kettle, and microwave on at the same time.
