Anyone have experience of attaching 6mm cooker circuit cable to a 1G unswitched 13A socket??

Reason is I want to change a cooker plate behind cooker to a 13A plug socket so I can plug a 2kW oven in (following grateful advice of learned posters on here). BTW, oven is part of freestanding dual fuel cooker.

Dont want to find that the cables dont fit the connectors !! Or am I worrying too much?

Any knowledge/ experience with particular socket makes very welcome. Thanks.

A single 6mm cable will go into most sockets. They designed to take 3 x 2.5mm cables.

I use Crabtree or MK mostly - these I know are OK with 6mm

MK claim thier sockets are suitable for 2x6mm cables.
