hello there,i want to install a electric oven not exceeding 13amps and a gas hob with ignition .would it be ok to put a 13amp fused connection unit on the kithen ring to supply a double socket outlet behind the oven and then connect these two to it via a plug? thanks.

you could, but it seems a waste of a spur / time, why not just put a double socket in the ring, since as you said then connect these two to it via a plug?
