Morning all ,
Just after some advice ,
A friend of mine has an oven that loses the clock display and doesn't respond when turning the oven on , no power to the red neon light to indicate it's on, is this a selector switch issue?
Not come across this fault before, left hand knob serving the grill is fine
Cheers
Oven is a Howden HJA4560

Could be bad connection at the clock, the oven is controlled through the clock switch contacts.
Check the wire from mains terminal to clock, either end could be at fault.

Sounds like a bad connection - there's enough to power the clock, but not the load of the oven. As part of the unit works, then it's internal to it.
