I have a 10 year old (ish) Worcester Gas Combi, problem is after demand for hot water or heating the pump used to continue for 10 secs or so, now it doesn't turn off unless I run the hot tap again for a few seconds then it switches off. Started about 3 weeks ago.
This is very inconsistent and there is no real pattern to it at all. I have noticed though the pressure has started to decrease over the last couple of weeks don't know if this has any connection.
Any ideas on the problem, should i consider an engineer call out as I have no experience of working on combi boilers although I am a competent DIYer. B.Gas will call out and fix for £120 parts and labour, I hate paying for some thing I can do myself, or is this a good deal??
Cheers........
