My plasterer says he can skim it, but the finish
around the spotlights might not be great - possibly
uneven or prone to crackcing.
He suggested it might be better to overboard the
ceiling with plasterboard first and then skim,
especially for a smooth finish around the downlights
I've also found a product called BeadMaster Circle
Downlight Hole Bead (49-62mm) that looks like it
could solve the issue. Has anyone used these?
