my neighbour above me has a small plastic pipe coming from below her window and dripping on to the wall below my window and the paving stones. the wall is now very wet and moss is starting to grow on it and i am worried that my house will become damp or the brickwork will become damaged. can you tell me what you think this is and what can i do about it.
thanks
melison

Usually some sort of ballvalve letting by; tank, cistern that sort of thing. You are likely to get damp problems sooner or later, probably sooner.
visit neighbour and tell them about the forum if they plead poverty.
Or tell 'em anyway.

That warning pipe should have been placed where she can see the overflow dripping not you! not always possible of course.
Normally over the front door or window.

Yeah as stated speak to neighbour and tell her storage Cistern is overflowing.

Or do what some geezer did in Trowbridge. stick a hose pipe on the end and run it into a drain
