We've just had the downpipe replaced on our overhead toilet flush as the old brass one was starting to tarnish.
Since the new one was fitted, when we now pull the chain, first of all the lever (attached to the chain) makes a hard knock (as if connecting with something metal on metal) which it didn't do before and it seems that too much water is emptied into the toilet bowl and it splashes out all over the floor, making a bit of a mess!
Having trouble getting the plumber to come back and sort it, so has anyone any suggestions on what it could be so we can have a look at sorting it ourselves?
thanks
