Hi guys. I wonder if you can help. How can i wire up some security lighting so i can overide a PIR sensor.

In other words, i want the security light to come on when someone walks in front of it, but i would like the option of turning the light on from a switch so it remains on if im having a party in the garden or something like that. Can i do this with a light witha built in PIR sensor or do i need a separate sensor and wire it in a particular way using a two way switch or similar.

Many thanks

Russ

most diy shed lights with pir can be turned on permanently by flicking the supply switch on and off a few times
Once will usually suffice though!!!
