Overtemp fault on a biasi riva he 28

Hello all
I have a problem with my boiler it works fine with the heating on but when hot water is called for it run for around ten seconds then them temp gauge shoots from 60 - 90 degrees very quickly then trips out and has to be reset with the red button. i am not sure but if there is some kind of blockage either in the heat exchanger or the divertor . any ideas

More likely the Secondary Heat Exchanger.

And thats all the free advice I'll offer........

No.

Thats why it is called the Secondary Heat Exchanger.

Soooooo, second and last piece of advice, read the schematic drawings that are in the Installation/servicing manual and you'll see why it is just that.

Thanks for more free advice would i be right in guessing the the secondary and DHW heat exchanger being the same thing
