Are you sure its actually a matting? I have seen used before chopped polypropelene strands used in screed as reinforcement, this is more likeley what they are asking for .

You can get that chopped stuff in Wickes. Tried it the other day and it works well.

Hi guys, thanks for the replies.I know about the bags of fibres but BCO wants this reinforcement matting which Ihave seen on firms websites specialising in industrial screeding etc. It obviously comes in roll form and looks like 25mmx25mm squares of whatever width and length and is refered to as pp reinforcement matting but I'me bu-----d if I can find it? IO'll speak to the BCOand see if the fibres are acceptable in thre screed mix which as its only light domestic usage you would think they are, cheers

If it's the screed, it's hardly a structural isue and it's not therefore the BCO's place to go demanding specific stuff.

Place I found in Lichfield, 9mm green mesh 50mtr roll. Not sure of name but kept number 01283 841801. Its about £80 a roll inc vat I think.

If that number is wrong let me know I will pull out te invoice.
