Which is best?

Only one way to find out . . . . . . . .

FIGHT!!!!!!

No seriously. I was going to PVA the screed before laying up to 30mm of SO Flex 30. However the advice seems to be use P131, and not PVA.

I always thought PVA was the answer to all life's little problems . . . seems I may be wrong.

Bit the bullet, went out and bought a bottle of P131 (£27) even though I've got plenty of PVA.
After eight hours (on a hot day) it's still slightly tacky to the touch, which can only be a good thing.

Put the self-levelling compound down in the morning.

Feel more confident with the proper gear.

Thanks for that.

Used twelve bags of Flex30.
They call it self leveller, but I'm afraid it's far from level!
It's up & down all over the place.

Gonna have to go over it again carefully with a thinner layer - several probably - and be quite specific with my spirit level.

Says on the bag "Easy to use"
The reality is, for areas like 12m², I think a degree of skill and experience is required.

:?

Don't think I've used that screed mate, where did you buy it. Was it a water mix or bag an bottle? Water mixs flow better.
How did you mix it and put it on?
Some smoothing screeds are better then others.
