Hi all,

Please see attached photos,

I am trying and find out the cause of this if anyone can help please?

This wall has recently been papered and then painted in a Dulux grey Matt paint,

In one corner it looks as though it has reacted?

I have tried to re-paint over the marks but they re-appear,

There was no paint underneath and the grey was the first and only colour to go on top of the wallpaper,

Thanks

Hard to say what's causing it.

Something bleeding through from the plaster, or maybe glue residue from the paper.

If it's a stain bleeding through from the plaster, you could try some oil-based undercoat, or stain block, over the paper, then emulsion - and hope for the best.
