Hi guys. I'm a heating engineer with a bit of spare time for obvious reasons. I want to remove some old paint from brickwork on the outside of my house. The bricks are soft reds & the paint has been there for years. It's not gloss & I can sand it off relatively easily but would rather put a fluid on & possibly jet wash it off. A wire brush leaves gouges & scratches also the bricks are very porous. Once cleaned, I want to repoint & seal. Any ideas please? Also any hints on cleaning dirty areas of unpainted peebledashing (without washing all the stones away!)
