Hi, i'm studying product design for my a levels and need to do some research for my project. My project is based around the problem of scraping paint from glass after painting the frames. I'd be grateful if you could help me out.
Has anyone used a basic paint scraper and found that without scoring the paint first, the paint tends to just flake off rather than coming off cleanly which makes the job much longer having to score the edges first.

Are there any products at the moment which would address this problem? if there was such a product which would both score and scrape at once, would you be interested? are there any suggestions as to whether this is a worthwhile idea from past experiences. What sort of features or functions could I consider? and how much would you be willing to pay?
Any suggestions or comments welcome.

A straight forward stanley blade type scraper does this with little effort.
