Hello

So, I am going to be in the market for an air duster and a paint sprayer sometime in the 2nd Quarter of 2023, so, I am just trying to work out if it would be best to buy 2 stand alone tools, or get an air compressor and these "attachments/tools"

Issues are space
Price
Practicability
Ease of use

So, with a paint spray gun, can it do paint and wood stain/varnishes, both fence paint and wall paint?
Price, obviously I don't want to overpay for a basic diy jobs
How simple is it to use, would it be able to be used in home instead of in shed/workplace?

So, if I go a compressor route, it would need to be small enough to store, but also movable around the house (so I can clean things like my PC, Behind radiators, electrical equipment and tools, while able to paint/stain areas like my desk, doors, door frames, walls etc...

Should I go for electrical paint sprayer and air duster? would a paint sprayer do the job of a air duster?

Budget, I don't want to spend hundreds, total, but will spend more on something that I can use for more applications (example air compressor can do tire inflation), if it costs £20-40ish more, as an addon at some time in the future when the need of it increases.

Thank you

When the world was young, I started out with one of these:
Great for dusting down, tyre inflation and low volume / viscosity products spraying - although it will deal with more viscous products such as oil base and cellulose.
It will do fence treatments fine.
Water filters are needed for cellulose etc spraying - as on all equipment.
I've found airless sprayers are ok for emulsion paint, but they baulk at anything thicker - but of course things may have moved on a bit.
John :)
