OK so we're not supposed to leave leftover paint tubs in sub-zero / scorching temperatures. The problem is, finding somewhere where they can be stored at room temperature is not always easy.

I have around 8 tubs of unused paint after a whole-house decorating job (emulsion, gloss, etc). I have literally nowhere in the house to store them for a long period of time. That leaves the shed, but it's just one of those plastic sheds. In the winter it's absolutely freezing, and it's the opposite in the summer.

I was wondering if I could get a large plastic box and insulate it? Something like this one:

Or this one:

Would that work, and how could I go about doing this?

Pointless, the temperature inside an insulated box in a shed will be no different to the air in the shed.
