painted floor

Hi All, I am going to have go at tiling my conservatory floor. 4x4 mtr. On removing the carpet I found that the concrete has been painted with a floor paint, do I need to do anything special or will the adhesive take ok.

What kind of condition is the paint in? Loose, flaky????

Hi The paint appears to be just a thin later but sound. J

If the paint is sound, you should be ok to go over it with a powdered flexible adhesive.
