So i want to paint a 45 degree lip above a feature wall, for a home cinema

borrowed pic attached (thanks to actual owner), i want to achieve the same as this

how would i get the edge straight and measure out the 45 degree? or is it easier to paint straight across?

any tips much appreciated!

do you mean you want to paint a 'box' around the tv.. e.g. on the celling too..

I'd have thought you could 'mask' with frog tape and paint..

to get the angles right you'd need to measure and draw them on first - I saw a digital protractor thing on amazon for not much money the other day - or a protractor - or by eye?
