Painting a fabric sofa?

Hi

Does anyone know if there is any paint available in the UK that is suitable for painting fabric (velour) on a sofa? I have seen spray paint advertised but I dont fancy any of the colours? I read an article from an American lady who used interior latex satin paint and the effect was amazing!!! I cant find anything like that in the UK? Can anyone help?

Im sure there are brushable dyes to be had...there certainly used to be...try dylon or someone like that
