Painting a fence and not splodging it everywhere

This fence stuff is do watery sploshes everywhere. How do u keep it off the concrete?

If u get it on concrete how u get it out?

Lift the panel up a couple of inches and slide the plastic or a piece of wood underneath. Usually if you splash the base panel the paint wont come off, you can rub it with a bit of powdered cement which will hide it.
 
as you are using a dark brown woodstain, I would (do) treat the concrete posts and gravelboards with dark brown masonry paint first.

the colour blends in, and as fence stain will not soak in, you can sponge or hose it off before it fully dries. drips will not be eyecatching anyway.
