Painting bare artex

Hi All

The several years old paint on my bathroom ceiling had bubbled and blistered, so using a steam wall paper stripper, I've stripped off all the paint back to bare artex, I eventually want to paint it with zinsser everwhite satin but I suspect I cant paint this straight on to bare artex as it will suck out all the moisture from the paint what is the best way to prepare the ceiling for painting, also can the zinsser everwhite be used on the skirting and door etc

If its Artex then a thinned down coat of white Matt emulsion should suffice to begin with.
