Hi All

I have a house that is 14yrs old and all the ceiling are Artexed - not the large stippled type its just the light artex.

It looks as if the artex has never been paint so is still original and uncoated.

What is the best PBW paint to use on this? also is it worth thinning the first coat that will get sucked in?

Is it best to use a roller or a large brush?

Thanks in advance.

Use a good trade emulsion, thinned as makers directions, I would apply with a brush, ( 2 coats minimum)
(but then I believe old fashioned methods are the best ;) )

I too believe in old methods - I use Boss White for my plumbing  But a brush on Artex  . Get a 9 inch Purdy roller ;)
