Hi,can anyone tell me if I need to seal bare bricks that are gona be coated with masonry paint with anything or can I just go straight on with the masonry if I thin it

1 part water to 5 parts paint as sealer coat,

Follow advice above. Do a small test area first just to make sure it absorbs into the brick, if it doesn't then add a little more water (providing its water based)
