Hi Guys

just looking for a bit of advice

I’m refurbishing a 60’s built House , looks like it’s not been touched for a good while , every Ceiling bar the Bathroom is covered in Polystyrene Tiles , they are all being removed , ( (easily luckily)Do I need to prime with anything before Paint the Plasterboard with a Matt Emulsion , it’s been painted in the past btw

Thanks for any replies

cheers
Phil

I painted over a ceiling after removing tiles. The tile adhesive bled through in brown spots.

Spray painted the spots with zinnser bin matt white, and, repainted. Perfect.

I'd paint as normal, and if its bleeds, try that
