Do I need to dilute the paint with water when painting ceilings?

Not usually unless you are painting new plaster which hasn't previously been painted. You are using emulsion I presume?
I've got a Vinyl Matt?
What are you putting it on? bare plaster or pre painted surface?
Pre painted ; I usually thin a little to help flow out, with trade paints we can thin more.
Depends on surface etc...
It's going on to a pre painted surface, using deluxe Trade, how much shall i thin it out? 10% ?
