Morning guys,
I've got a fireplace in my house that has had the reveal finished with what appears to be some form of render. I am wanting to paint it and looking for some advice?
I am assuming that masonry paint would be the best paint to use, but what do I need to do to prepare the render before painting? Do I need to use a primer/undercoat? Or 'seal' the render somehow? I've looked online but all advice I can find for painting render is for external walls and I'm not sure if I need to go to the same lengths with internal render?
Thank you!
