Painting kitchen cabinets

I have a customer who wants to paint their kitchen cabinets. The doors are solid wood (varnished) so a light rub-down, undercoat, and finish coat or two should be ok - BUT - there are other parts which are vinyl-wrapped such as some exposed carcase edges, end decor panels, open shelves, lighting pelmets etc. What can I use to ensure that the same finish will bond to the vinyl and end up with a durable finish that looks the same as the doors?

B&Q do a good range of specialist paints now that can paint onto almost anything. May be worth a visit if the above is no good to you.

never used this myself but you use this for a base coat then put your normal coat on after this just give the paint some think to hold to.
