I have kitchen cabinets that are stained and laquered. They also have some grease on them. I would like to paint them with green or blue. Does anyone know what and how I would do that? Any suggestions.
Thanks

Sounds like your doors are solid timber. If so, all you need do is wash with 'Sugar Soap'
and lightly sand the surface with 80grit sandpaper to provide a key for the new paint. Use a GOOD QUALITY undercoat and two top coats of an oil bound eggshell finish. Don't use high gloss it will be far too stark and show every imperfection.
