Painting MDF screen

Hi,

I've a radiator cover with an MDF screen (this - http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav.j...efview=search&ts=1269679655174&isSearch=true) and have been warned against painting it with a brush. How should I spray it, if indeed I should? I'd really not be inclined to hire a spray gun for whatever normal paint I'd use, and would rather buy a can of "something" to do the job.

No need to spray, (nice if you can though) I only ever use a good quality pure bristle brush ..Prime then apply a couple of coats of oil-based eggshell..
