I have some MDF cupboards & under the stair cupboard panels which are raw.

I understand from this great forum that I should seal with Rustins MDF sealer but do I fill screw holes first or seal first?

I want to finish with Dulux Satinwood.

Grateful for any tips.

Always better to prime before applying any filler.

ps dont forget after prep to spot prime the filler.

So I seal first then fill, remembering to spot prime the filler.
Then paint.

Thanks

Yes the product of your choice here is basicly an mdf primer, a normal primer will allow the user to only paint the surface. This particular one dries to a clear finish allowing the user the opportunity to either paint or varnish the mdf.

So after sealing I can give a couple of coats of oil based Satinwood.

Thanks for tips
