Hi guys,

I have a decorative cartwheel sitting outside my house, seriously in need of sprucing up:

What would be the best method of treating this - getting rid of the old paint and rust, and what would be the best paint to use to keep it looking good as it faces the elements?

Thanks in advance
Brian

Hi, If that was mine I would buy a metal brush drill attachment, put the goggles on and give it some serious stripping treatment. Red oxide the stripped wheel as a primer, white undercoat [ for metal ] x 2 coats and finish it with smooth white Hammerite or similar, good luck.

Fantastic. Thanks for your help Dave. :D
